About Kevin Smith Architectural Services
Kevin Smith has been in Architectural Practice since 1987. He has lived in Somerset all his life, working in practices based in Frome, Warminster, Castle Cary and Glastonbury. He gained Full Membership of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists in 1997, and formed his own practice in 2004. His work-home office is now in Frome.
Kevin has built and continued to maintain a strong professional relationship with Builders, Private Clients, Developers, Planning Consultants, Structural Engineers, Heat Loss Consultants, 3D Visualization Technicians, Building Control Officers, Conservation Area Officers and Local Authority Planning Officers.
Clients continue to recommend him to others, and some have used his services for more than 10 years.
Mendip Built In Quality Awards
Mendip Building Control started holding an annual awards ceremony in 2007. The awards recognise projects of the highest standards, not only with regard to the product itself but also taking into account matters such as health and safety, compliance with relevant legislation and customer satisfaction.
The awards cover different categories of building and types of work, such as domestic extensions, commercial/public buildings, works to a listed building, and new housing. Nominations are made by the Area Surveyors, with the winners being decided by a panel of judges.
